Last chance to sign up for the Leadership & Transformation Programme 2026
The Credit Union Leadership & Transformation Programme is a bespoke programme developed by training provider Estu in collaboration with the credit union sector to support current and future leaders in building the capabilities required to drive organisational change, improve services, foster innovation and strengthen long-term sustainability within their credit unions.
The programme is a Level 6 (degree-level) professional apprenticeship in Service Design. It will last for 15 months with primarily online learning and quarterly in-person sessions. The programme is fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy for English participants, and we are exploring funding options for Welsh and Scottish participants. It is scheduled to start in late September 2026.
The programme is for credit union professionals who are leading, enabling or delivering change from frontline service improvement to organisational transformation such as:
- – Current and future leaders shaping services, teams and priorities
- – Operations, lending and member service colleagues improving processes and experience
- – Finance, risk and compliance colleagues supporting responsible, well-governed change
- – Marketing, digital and engagement leads strengthening member connection and insight
- – High-potential professionals preparing for progression and broader responsibility
