The Development Educator (DE) programme is designed to provide credit union employees and volunteers with a greater understanding of the international credit union system. The Credit Union Development Education Europe programme has been held since 2004 to promote the importance of the credit union movement, enhance leadership and business skills and to facilitate collaboration and networking across the credit union sector.
Join us for the DEEU One-Day Virtual Workshop Event!
The DEEU Advisory Committee have taken the decision to postpone its one-day virtual work shop
until Wednesday 19 January 2022. This decision has been taken to allow participants to share
how their credit unions business model and strategy may have adapted during coming months to
help support their members, and to get a clearer picture of the impact of the furlough scheme
ending in September has had on members and the credit unions.
The Committee believes this will allow a more collaborative and productive discussions and will
result in all attendees having a more interactive real-world discussion and the biggest challenges
credit unions will face going forward in 2022.
19 January 2022, from 10:00am until 4:00pm.
The workshop will build on the WOCCU theme for ICU Day - Building Financial Health For A Brighter Tomorrow.
Proceeds collected from the workshop will be used to offer scholarships for the next DEEU programme. This workshop will give collaborators the opportunity to use their real worlds kills to develop implementable solutions for the benefit of members and ensuring the longevity of the business. You can register for the event here.
Please note that registrations for the workshop closes Friday 14 January 2022.
